A Families United For Justice Case

A list of civil rights violations and judicial and prosecutorial misconduct experienced by Bryant Arroyo in Pennsylvania courts.

Highlights of the case:  At trial not a single witness came forward to corroborate the prosecution’s theory.  Nineteen character witnesses testified on behalf of Bryant's good behavior and non-violent demeanor.  Eleven years later, Dr. Mohammed A. Al-Bayati evaluated the case and presented a full report as to the cause of the infant's death.  Also came the alarming news of the child's sibling facing the possibility of one day suffering from the same condition and having the same fate.  No one cared about informing the mother the danger her children was facing because an innocent man was convicted of a crime he did not commit.  Dr. Wayne K. Ross, M.D., was the prosecution smoking gun and his testimony and allegations made the case.

[Case No. 48-2003-CF-005533-0]  Bryant Arroyo was accused of brutally killing his eight-month-old stepson, Jordan Shenk and sentenced to life in prison without parole.  The case made the local news headline in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and destroyed his family and his reputation. The issues presented in this case make a strong case of innocence.  False testimony, lack of evidence, ineffective assistance of counsel, police corruption, no expert was presented during trial on behalf of defendant to counter the Commonwealth’s allegation.
